Sree Sakthi Engineering College (Autonomous) was established in the year 2010 by Shri. N. Dharmalingam, Chairman, and Dr. S. Karthikeyan, Correspondent of Sree Sakthi Charitable Trust, with a noble vision to provide value-based, high-quality technical education to aspiring students from both urban and rural backgrounds. From its humble beginnings, the institution has grown steadily into one of the most promising centers for engineering education in Tamil Nadu, known for academic rigor, innovation, and a deep commitment to excellence.

Situated in the scenic foothills of the Western Ghats, the college is located at Karamadai, just 25 kilometers from Coimbatore, along the Coimbatore–Ooty National Highway. The sprawling 13.5-acre campus, with its modern architecture and eco-friendly design, provides a peaceful and stimulating environment for learning and personal growth.

The college offers a wide range of programs, including five Diploma courses, nine Undergraduate engineering programs, 2 Postgraduate program (ME), and Doctoral research programs, all affiliated to Anna University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. SSEC is also accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), reflecting its consistent pursuit of quality in education and institutional effectiveness.
