SSEC provides the students with spacious hostel rooms for their comfortable stay, showing them real life experience and enable them to learn to be independent and to manage realities and challenges of daily life. The Security of the residents is one of the Management’s highest priorities. Security personnel are stationed at the hostel to ensure 24/7 security for the residents. Each hostel consists of a 24 hour on-duty warden and assistant wardens who take care of each and every student personally and monitor their attendance daily. Residential wardens take care of the welfare of students and discipline. The Hostel is managed by the Hostel Residents Council consisting of Warden, Deputy Warden, Dean Academics & Chief Executive Officer
There are excellent separate Hostel facilities available for both Boys and Girls. The hostel location is filled with natural light and ventilation. The hostels have 24 hour electricity and water supply, water cooler, water heaters provided in need, Indoor Sports Room, Telephone Facility, Gymnasium, Common TV room, WiFi accessing points, Multi Cuisine food service, Cafeteria, Recreational room etc. All these facilities are created with a desire to create homely, healthy and educational atmosphere
The hostellers also have access to various laboratories beyond normal class hours, to enhance their knowledge and skills. Round the clock security and surveillance cameras in various locations ensure safety and security of the inmates. It also provides good and safe facilities of lodging and boarding to cater to the needs of outstation students
Students should maintain strict discipline and avoid making noise inside the hostel premises including dining hall. Boys should go to college in formal dress, properly tucked-in, wearing shoes, & with clearly shaved face and Girls go to college in formal dress, wearing overcoat and shoes. Residents who are going out should get prior permission from the warden and should come back at the appointed hour. Hostellers should not go outside the College campus except on holidays by obtaining prior permission from the hostel warden. Students should make proper use of furniture, electrical fittings, bathroom fittings and sanitary fittings. Water doctors are installed in all floors with ease of availability
Study timings are from 6:30 pm to 8 pm & from 9 pm to 10:30 pm. Outing on Sundays is from 6 am - 8 pm on prior permission from the authorities

Note: Two majestic buildings are there in A & B Blocks in which 42 rooms allocated for students and 3 rooms for staff members in A-Block & in B-Block, 84 rooms for students and 5 rooms for staff members. Rooms with AC facility are also available in A Block. |

All the Residents should return to the hostel on the date of reopening of the college
Apart from the residents, no other 3rd person is allowed to stay in the hostel premises
Anyone who permits outsiders to their rooms without permission will be expelled from hostel
A student shall not occupy a room without allotment
Resident shall neither transfer nor exchange their rooms with other resident
Residents shall not sleep in others' rooms
Residents are informed to keep minimum money and low cost items to avoid theft
The hostel authorities are not responsible for any loss or theft of the belongings of the residents. The residents must make their own arrangements for keeping their items safe
Day Scholars are not permitted inside the Hostel
Action will be taken against the residents who encourage and permit the day scholars to stay in their rooms
Every student admitted to the hostel will be issued a Hostel Identity Card. Students are advised to keep their Identity Cards safely
The hostel ID must be shown for verification whenever security guard / other officials of the hostel ask for any clarification
Do not keep costly and valuable materials inside the hostel premises
Residents are expected to be dressed decently
In case of emergency, residents are informed to contact Warden / Dean Academics / CEO for immediate assistance
Anyone falling sick is advised to inform Warden / Dean Academics / CEO for immediate assistance before going to Hospital
Mess charges will be based on dividing system
Residents or their guests shall not enter the kitchen without permission
Residents shall have their food only in the respective mess allotted to them and they must adhere to the prescribed timings of the mess
Fine will be levied against those who waste food
If residents of a particular class leave the hostel for Industrial Visits for three days and more, they will be provided mess fee reduction
Those who leave hostel in case of emergency should inform their absence by themselves or through parents over phone to the hostel information service so that the mess supervisor will apply for mess reduction to the sick residents. After the arrival, a copy of medical certificate and college leave application form (duly signed by class tutor) should be submitted to the hostel admin office
Residents should obtain token for any extra side dish like Chicken, Mutton, Chilli Gobi, Omelet, Egg and Mushroom fry
Residents should not bring food from outside
Morning Tea time 6 am to 6:30 am
Breakfast 7.30 am to 8:30 am
Lunch 12:30 pm to 1:30pm
Evening Tea Time 5 pm to 5:45 pm
Dinner 8 pm to 9 pm
Note:- Non –Vegetarian food has been provided 3 times per week including Sundays.
