Overview

SSEC places a strong emphasis on physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship by providing students with state-of-the-art sports facilities and opportunities to excel in various games. The campus promotes both indoor and outdoor sports, encouraging students to maintain a healthy lifestyle, develop leadership skills, and cultivate a spirit of discipline and perseverance.

Students can participate in a wide range of activities, including athletics, football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and cricket, among others. Regular tournaments, inter-college competitions, and friendly matches are organized to nurture talent, boost confidence, and foster camaraderie.

The sports program at SSEC also emphasizes holistic development by instilling values such as teamwork, resilience, fair play, and dedication. With expert coaches and well-maintained facilities, students are empowered to explore their athletic potential and achieve excellence, both on and off the field.

• Cricket: Boys’ Cricket Team participated in tournaments hosted by CIT College, Tamil Nadu College of Engineering, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, and RVS Institution.
• Basketball: Boys’ Basketball Team represented the college at Kumaraguru College of Technology and Coimbatore Institute of Technology.
• Football: Boys’ Football Team competed against teams from United Institute of Technology, Dhaanish Ahmed Institute of Technology, SNS College of Technology, Sri Eshwar College of Engineering, Coimbatore Institute of Technology, and Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering.
• Kabaddi: Kabaddi Team participated in tournaments organized by SNS College of Technology, Coimbatore Institute of Technology, and Sri Eshwar College of Engineering.
• Volleyball: Volleyball Boys’ and Girls’ Teams competed in matches organized by Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Sri Eshwar College of Engineering, KGISL Institute of Technology, Karpagam College of Engineering, and PPG Institute of Technology.
