Professional Bodies

Computer Society of India is the first and largest body of computer professionals in India, It was started on 6 March 1965 by a few computer professionals and has now grown to be the national body representing computer professionals. It has 72 chapters across India, 511 student branches, and 100,000 members.

The Computer Society of India is a non-profit professional meet to exchange views and information learn and share ideas, The Society also encourages and assists professionals to maintain integrity and competence of the profession and fosters a sense of partnership amongst members. Besides the activities held at the Chapters and Student Branches, the Society also conducts periodic conferences, seminars. The CSI student chapter of SREE SAKTHI ENGINEERING COLLEGE , has been registered during the academic year of 2016-2017.

SSEC has an educational institute membership of CSI and which has been renewed ever year currently this chapter has around 100 student members from the computer science and engineering department .This chapter organizes various event like workshop, seminar, and symposium, conferences, FDP and Guest lectures periodically to impact the current trends in IT Industry.

The SSEC has started Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) Faculty chapter in the academic year 2016-2017 to make the faculty and student community,to improve the quality of technical education skills and to provide training, organizing seminar, expert lecturers to the students and faculty to exhibit the talent, innovation projects which helps in their carrier development.

  • The Inaugural Function of ISTE Chapter of Sree Skathi Engineering College was held on 07.02.2017 at 2.30pm. Dr.J.ARIVUDAINAMBI, Professor & Head, Department of Aeronautical Enginering, Adhiyamaan College of Engineering, Hosur, TN & National Executive Council Member, New Delhi Section was inaugurated the function. The Guest of Honor is Dr.N.Malmurugan, Director, Sri Ranganathar Institute of Engineering and Technology
  • The Guest lecture such as “Advances & Challenges in Engineering” held on 11.08.2017
    and “Motivational programme on communication skills for carrer development ” held on 05.09.2018 were conducted in Sree Sakthi Engineering College.
