Inauguration of Fuji Electric Laboratory at Sree Sakthi Engineering College

To foster industry-academic collaboration and provide students with practical exposure to advanced technologies, Sree Sakthi Engineering College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Fuji Electric India Pvt Ltd. As part of this partnership, the Fuji Electric Laboratory was inaugurated on campus on 23rd January 2025.
The laboratory is designed to enhance students' knowledge in PLC Automation and provide hands-on experience, supporting their final-semester projects and bridging the gap between academic learning and industrial practices.
The event commenced with a ribbon-cutting ceremony jointly conducted by the chief guest, Mr. Vijayaraghavan, Corporate & Plant HR Head, Fuji Electric India Pvt Ltd, Chennai, and Dr. S. Karthikeyan, Correspondent of Sree Sakthi Engineering College. This was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp of wisdom. During the program, Mr. Vijayaraghavan and his team elaborated on the latest trends in automation and highlighted the future scope of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) in emerging technologies.
The inauguration was attended by several dignitaries, including Mr. K. Akileswaran, Joint Correspondent, Dr. G. Jayaprakash, Principal, Dr. N. Prasannan, CEO, Prof. P. Malarvizhi, Dean, as well as directors, Heads of Departments, faculty members, and students.
This partnership with Fuji Electric India Pvt Ltd marks a significant milestone for Sree Sakthi Engineering College, offering students opportunities to work with advanced Japanese technologies, fostering innovation, and preparing them for successful careers in the field of automation and technology.
